July 4th (Saturday, of course) join us to take part in the Palisades Parade, an annual event that always draws a large crowd and the city's entire political "elite." Below is a link to the parade information sheet that tells where to gather (as early as 10 a.m.) for the 11 a.m. parade.

Kirby plans to be there at 10 to hold a spot for us near the front of the parade. The information sheet says your place in the parade is first come-first served. For those who don't want to walk, you can ride in the back of Kirby's pickup truck. If you plan to ride, Kirby suggest bringing a folding chair for comfort. Kirby is hoping for some early arrivals from our group to help put the McMillan banner on the truck.

Also, if you have any McMillan flyers that would be appropriate (that is, not outdated) for handing out at the parade, please bring them.
