Everyone is busy. So busy we often
forget to pause and reflect on how fortunate we are. Next week, I
hope you can take time out of your busy schedule to spend time
with loved ones, have plenty of good food & drink, and think
about what you're thankful for.
This year
I'm thankful for:
- the
three wonderful ladies in my life
- a
caring and supportive family
- great friends
- my
clients
- the new
roof on our house
- the
ability to work for myself (from home!)
- delicious
beer
- Sriracha
(really, who isn't thankful for this?)
- a new
Star Wars movie in December (please be good!)
- Carcassonne
(am I right, Kevin Kiger?)
Thanks for
reading and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Since I'm running with the
theme of being thankful, I'd like to highlight a recent blog post
by Kali Hawlk, writer and marketing manager of The XY Planning
Network. Her post, titled "Do You Have Enough?", is a
worthwhile read.
The Short
Version: We strive to have enough money, success, stuff, etc. However, we
rarely stop to appreciate what we have and what we've achieved.
It's good to be reminded of this every once and a while.
