This morning I was walking to my car just north of 3rd and
Rhode Island and I found a cat wandering in the street. Black and white, with a
black heart nose, young female, ticked ear (so she been spayed). She seemed
hungry and friendly so I thought she might be a lost pet. I took her to the
Washington Humane Society but they didn't find a chip. They're wondering
whether she's a stray or a feral or what, and I'm wondering if I've scooped up
someone's indoor/outdoor cat.
In any case, I'd like to get her back to where she needs to
be. I'm considering knocking on doors tonight after work, but I was hoping that
you could post something on the neighborhood blog first.
Would that be possible?

Ticked ear usually means a feral cat that's been a part of the trap, spay, and return program.
There's a few outdoor cats on our block (Seaton Pl). I frequently see two black and white cats, one with long hair and the other with shorter hair. Are there any pictures?
