Hi Everyone,

We are partnering with St. George's Church on their Kwanzaa Kitchen this Saturday, March 21 at 9 am.

Kwanzaa Kitchen
Saturday, March 21
9 - 10 am
Outside of St. George's Church, 160 U St NW

In order to keep in line with the recommendations of the CDC and District of Columbia Government guidelines, involving social distancing and minimal numbers of people gathering, to decrease the potential for community spread of COVID-19, we will be taking the following measures:

- Food will be distributed in to-go bags outside of the church
- Volunteers will be kept to under 10 people
- In order to encourage people to remain 6' away from each other, we will mark an X on the sidewalk with chalk to note where people should stand.

St. George's Church will provide to-go bags with pancakes, scrambled eggs, and turkey bacon. Common Good City Farm will provide to-go bags with kale and other greens.

Attached is a flyer and please share widely.

Kwanzaa Kitchen is a ministry of St. George’s Church that has been providing a hot, nutritious breakfast to patrons in the community for 27 years with the mission to continue this service as best as possible during this time of crisis. Kwanzaa Kitchen is funded by the Episcopal Diocese of Washington Hunger Fund.

thank you,

--
