Subject: FW: DC OPC Outage Survey

From the Office of the People’s Counsel:

The District of Columbia has experienced major power outages. As a result, the Office of the People’s Counsel (OPC) is conducting this survey. The purpose of the survey is to:

1) determine the frequency and duration of power outages affecting your neighborhood,
2) gauge the quality of Pepco’s response to your outages,
3) gather consumers’ opinions on whether placing more of Pepco’s power cables underground would make service more reliable and
4) develop a profile of the respondents and communities affected by power outages.

The survey can only be taken once from your computer, however by emailing the link, others affected by the outage can participate. The survey can also be taken over the phone. Simply call OPC at 202-727-3071 and a member of our staff will take your responses over the phone.
