I was walking by The
Washington Post building demolition site tonight and noticed a man with
professional noise monitoring gear camped out on the sidewalk in the snow. He
told me he’s been employed by a local business to document the levels because
of complaints from their clients. If this is still relevant and useful, this is

Interesting story behind the Washington Post demolition. They were able to get an after hours, emergency permit to demo 24 hours a day. Needless to say, nearby residents were not pleased. Last I heard, they were able to reduce the number of days for the permit, in addition to lowering the decibels allowed. The Northwest Current has covered the story.
