BLOOMINGDALE CIVIC ASSOCIATION ELECTION NOMINATING COMMITTEE
It is time to prepare for the Bloomingdale Civic Association (BCA) elections! The BCA is seeking volunteers to serve on the BCA Election Nominating Committee. The Committee will compile and submit to the BCA a slate nominees for the BCA's elected positions. If you are interested in serving on the nominating Committee, please contact me (terijanine @ gmail.com or 214 then 908 then 1913) or another executive board member as soon as possible.
FRIENDS OF FLORIDA AVENUE PARK
You may have noticed that the work on the Florida Avenue Park is progressing quite nicely. The BCA received a request for the Bates Area Civic Association seeking a representative from the BCA to help form the Friends of the Florida Avenue Park (FFAP) group. The representative will serve on the Initial Board of the FFAP for six months. The Initial Board will define the mission, goals, activities, schedule, rules, and structure of the FFAP. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested in being the BCA representative on the FFAP.
