Friendly Reminder to join us at the next Tunnel Forum Meeting:

for the 2016 Summer
Tunnel Forum Community Meeting. At this week’s community meeting, the project team will
share with you the construction status, schedule for local roadway openings,
restoration plans, Small Diameter Water Main Replacement Project update, and
more.
The meeting
will be held at:
St. George’s Episcopal Church
160 U Street, NW
Washington, DC 20001
7 pm – 8:30 pm
Updates at Construction Staging Areas (CSAs):
Adams Street and
Flagler Place CSA: Near surface concrete structures are complete.
Utility work including water service connection and storm structure
installation with site restoration on Flagler Pl will continue through
August. Shaft internal structures and cover installation with site
restoration on Adams St will continue through early September.
Intersection of First Street and V Street CSA: Near surface
concrete structures are complete on First St and remaining utility work (water
and storm structure installation) with surface restoration is scheduled to be
complete by mid-August. V St near surface structures and shaft internal
structure/cover installation will continue through early September.
Pumping Station at Thomas Street and First Street CSA: Near surface
concrete structures are complete. Shaft cover will be complete by end of
July. Mechanical and electrical installations are complete.
Equipment startup/commissioning, utility installation, and site restoration
will continue through August.
