Scott and neighbors -

Yesterday, I went to the DDOT web site and their home page advertised that you could apply "now" for a 2015 VPP. I clicked on the link and applied and received a confirmation email.

Today, after conversations with a neighbor and DDOT, I was told that you cannot apply for a 2015 VPP until October 1.

Please read this correction and forgive any confusion.

Just to clarify - the 2014 VPP, which indicates it will expire at the end of September, will now be valid until the end of December 2014.

To receive a 2015 VPP, -" A resident may register for a VPP either online at http://vpp.ddot.dc.gov, or by phone at (202) 671-2700"

DDOT now has a new page with FAQs about the 2015 program:

http://ddot.dc.gov/sites/default/files/dc/sites/ddot/page_content/attachments/2015%20Visitor%20Parking%20Pass%20FAQ.pdf

Hope this helps (and that DDOT will not make any more changes).

I registered, and received a letter this week telling me that current passes were being extended through the end of the year.
