Subject: RE: Thank you so much for helping us impact 450 families and their children at this year's toy Give Away rally.

Greetings everyone, we are on the move again.

As indicated from these pictures from the Christmas toy give away, with your help, we provided over 450 families   who were present at the Dec toy give away rally toys for their kids.  Thanks.

As we now prepare for  the next rally which will be our Saturday, April 27th Walk-a-thon (see flier attached) designed to recruit volunteers, mentors and raise funds for scholarships for seniors graduating from high school, we want to extend to you, family and friends invitation to come be a part of the walk-a-thon.

On another note,  as one of the chaplain's at the Youth Detention Center, one of our objectives is to identify and recruit mentors and volunteers  to work with not just youth who are incarcerated, but are looking for mentors to work with the siblings of incarcerated youth and kids in the community. We are already plugged in with schools in our community and are looking for people who want to give back by serving as a mentor for a child, youth and/or adult.    Please circle the date and stop by and be a part of the walk.

Ok, hang in there,

Dr. J. Perkins, World Missions Extension Center

(Note that World Missions is located in Bloomingdale at 1720 1st Street NW -- a block north of Big Bear Cafe.)
