at Big Bear Cafe on Sunday, 09-01-2013: meet-and-greet for DC mayoral candidate Tommy Wells

See this announcement for an event at Bloomingdale's Big Bear Café:

Please join us for a Meet and Greet with mayoral candidate Tommy Wells on Sunday, September 1st, at Big Bear Cafe from 10:00am-12:00pm for an informal discussion about the future of DC. Tommy will be fielding your questions and discussing his vision for making DC a great city to live, work, and raise a family.
Rather than me setting forth his experiences in the past and his vision for the future, it would be better for you to hear it directly from him. We invite you to stop by, hear what he has to say, and have a chance to go one-on-one with him.
WHEN: Sunday | September 1st | 10-12pm
WHERE: Big Bear Cafe | 1700 1st Street NW
You can also let Tommy know which issues you believe are most important for our city to address, such as:
Assuring high quality schools accessible to every family in every neighborhood
Restoring integrity among our public officials
Bringing growth and opportunity to all parts of the city
As part of his mayoral campaign, Tommy is meeting with residents in every neighborhood to talk about what we all want – a great city to live, work, and raise a family.
Join the discussion – and invite your friends!

Share the event on facebook!

He's going to try and do a meet-and-greet in the middle of both the farmer's market and brunch rush? That seems ill-advised.
