Attempts to Break in to bacio&greenpaws twice in a week
We have some troubling news and
wanted to let you and the Bloomingdale blog community know about it. Tonight we
suffered our second break-in attempt in two days. The first one occurred
Wednesday night -- someone tried to get in to the store through Green Paws,
with two others as look-outs (as we saw later on our security cameras). We're
still trying to learn what happened late last night -- but what we do know is
that someone smashed a rock through the big Bacio window. Luckily no one was
hurt.
Obviously
we've filed police reports. Still, we find the fact that the robbers felt
comfortable coming back the second night and weren't deterred when they did
return incredibly worrisome. We feel like we should have had a much stronger
police presence after the first attempt, and we hope there's something we can
do through the Bloomingdale community to encourage that. Bacio is on a
residential street, and if these guys feel comfortable hitting our store
repeatedly, who knows whose home could be next?

Any chance Attila could post his security video similar to what the MPD does so that those in the neighborhood can help to identify the criminals?
