Commissioner –
Thank for your response and explanation. Our next Civic Association Meeting is on Monday, September 7 and we would love to speak to you about this matter as we have serious concerns about the building of what appears to be an illegal parking lot violating many permit requirements and EPA requirements for construction of such a parking lot.
The Residents will be filing a formal complain with the EPA as permeable water surface has been eliminated without the required environment study, community notification and input. Furthermore, the number of spaces is inconsistent with the number of space needed for the Charter School.

Long activities at Dunbar and beyond. The owner Kent Amos has met with the Dunbar Planning Committee, Dunbar construction team, myself and other govt officials to help with parking and traffic. Several of the above were delighted that over 100 spaces will be available to many of the elderly and disabled seniors involved in the Dunbar celebration and help alleviate a serious parking dilemma in this ANC. At several of the SMD 5E06 meetings held each month, that are posted in neighborhood listserv, residents have been brainstorming on solutions to the serious parking problems caused by several construction projects in our neighborhood. I will be glad to meet with a small group or plan to attend to attend your BACA meeting on September 2, to further expand solution s to the parking and traffic dilemma in our neighborhood.
