Thousands will gather at the National Mall to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington. DC residents will be there representing every neighborhood and marching for statehood.
Bring your family, friends and neighbors. Carry statehood signs to highlight the statehood movement to a national audience. Please also bring signs or banners indicating your neighborhood or organization.
We will have a short program with Mayor Gray & others, and then march to the Lincoln Memorial at 9:30am.
