I have attached an update to the Washington Gas Fact Sheet with a timetable of activities for our project in the Bloomingdale Community. I also would like to convey the following message as a response to a question posed by a resident of First Street during the December 9th Community Meeting.
“In the intersection of First and Thomas St, NE, Washington Gas has completed gas main relocation/replacement work and has provided temporary restoration for the roadway. Additionally, electric line work by PEPCO is planned for that intersection in January 2014. After completion of that work, final roadway restoration will commence. The final restoration timetable is contingent on weather and will be done in accordance with DDOT specifications. The collaboration of the utilities around this restoration work will eliminate duplication of effort in this very busy intersection.”
