info on the testing of Fire/EMS at Flagler/Adams for access at the next DC Water 1st Street Tunnel Forum meeting -- Thursday, 08-28-2014

Thank you for contacting DC Water.
         
As part of the First Street Tunnel Project/ Emergency Response Plan-DC Water Construction, SKJD Project Managers and the DC Fire Department meet regularly to review Fire-EMS access at each Construction Staging Area ( CSA) as well as review other fire prevention and safety related issues. At times, various sites are used to stage equipment, conduct drills and mock exercises in an effort to assist the Contractor (SKJD) and the Fire Department in complying with the safety requirements dictated by the DC Fire Department.  These meetings/site activities are not public meetings.
    
However, since you and others have expressed interest in the process, DC Water and SKJD will present a summary of information on Fire and EMS for each CSA at the next Tunnel Forum meeting now scheduled for Thursday, August 28th at 7PM at St. George’s Church.

At the Tunnel Forum, Skanska said that Fire/EMS would be testing the Flagler/Adams CSA for access.
  
A neighbor has asked me to find out when this will take place, as they may be interested in attending.
